  • How long is the process of refinishing from start to finish?

We will make an appointment for our team to come out to your home to remove your doors and drawer fronts. On this day we do ask you to allot 1-2 hours for this initial removing and measuring process. Please be aware that sometimes we will need to take the entire drawer box, depending on the construction, and then take the measurements needed to complete your project. You will not have doors or drawer fronts during this time, as we are stripping, sanding, and then staining/painting them in our facility; this process may take 2 to 2 ½ weeks. We will then reach out to you to schedule a time and date to install. Most refinishing installations take 2-3 days but can be shorter or longer depending on the size of your project. During the entire installation process, your kitchen will be fully functional, keeping the disruption to your daily routines to a minimum.

  • How long is the process of refacing from start to finish?

We will make an appointment to come out and measure all necessary areas to complete your project. On this day we do ask you to allot 1-2 hours for this process. After this initial visit, we will then return in about 4 - 4 ½ weeks for installation; we will reach out to you to schedule that date and time. Most refacing installations take 2-3 days but can be shorter or longer depending on the size of your project. During the entire installation process, your kitchen will be fully functional, keeping the disruption to your daily routines to a minimum.

  • What is included in a refinish or reface project?

Along with refinishing or refacing your cabinets, we will also replace all your door hinges with soft closing hinges along with new crown molding up to 2¼ inches. If you desire a taller crown molding those options are available at a very minimal additional charge. Please note soft soft-closing drawer slides are not included but are available at an additional cost.

  • What should I expect the first day of installation of a refinish or reface project?

Our team of installers will arrive with your doors, drawers, and face material. We do ask you to clear your countertops to ensure nothing is broken and our installers have adequate space to apply the reface portion. They will also need an area outside to make their cuts and will need to plug in their saw.

  • Do I need to empty out my cabinet boxes or drawers to refinish or reface them?

No need to empty out your cabinet boxes since we will be refacing the exterior cabinet parts. We do ask you only to empty out your drawers since our installers will need to attach the drawer fronts and drill for handle holes.

  • Do you refinish or reface any interior parts of the cabinets?

No, we do not refinish or reface any interior cabinet parts, only the exterior.

If you want to reface the top of the cabinets or under the upper cabinets we can do so at an additional cost. Please just notify us when we visit to take measurements.

  • Are handles included?

No, we do not provide handles. Our installers can drill the openings and install them for you, but they must be there the same day as the cabinet installation. Handle cost installation is only included in custom cabinetry projects. It is not included in refinishing or refacing projects. Prices per installed handle/or knobs are as follows.

    • $2 per knob <$4 per handle/knob if more than 2 different sizes.
    • $3 per handle (i.e., knob, 6-inch pull, 12-inch pulls)

If you are looking to purchase handles, you can mention you’re working with us for better pricing at:
